Heather & Nick | a Bowen Mills Wedding

I already knew she would be but I definitely lost my breath as soon as I saw Heather! She was absolutely stunning in her gown, and Nick definitely knows how to rock a tux!

The past 4 years I’ve been honored to photograph these two (& their pups) and let me tell you a couple of the things I’ve been blessed to witness. The sweet way Nick looks at Heather – soft, gentle eyes filled with so much love. The way Heather always talks so highly of the former Marine. The way Nick pulls Heather in for a soft embrace and passionate kiss, always. The way Heather’s face lights up whenever Nick enters the room. (Specifically, the way Heather couldn’t contain her excitement to see her man and asked me if he was ready for their first look because she sure was!) I’ve witness how much love they have for their family (Pups and Kitten – Calvin, Champ & Sawyer) and their joy they have working together at the Gun Lake Casino. Lastly, one of my favorite moments (other than what I’ve listed above) was the crazy amount of JOY Nick had as he watched his bride walk down the aisle (take a look for yourself below). September 30th, 2017 was so perfect, so fun, and a beautiful celebration of Heather & Nick’s love and commitment.

To sum it all up – Heather’s Sister & Maid of Honor (Katie) said it best, “Welcome to the family, Nick, even though it always felt like you were a part of our family already.”

You know you have the best couples in the world when the bride hugs you goodbye and says “Just so you know – I wouldn’t of wanted any body else to photograph our wedding. We love you and Brian and we’ve loved having you both in our lives the last 4 years!!”

Heather & Nick – you two are the real deal. You’re both so sweet, calm and easy going, and I just love being around you both! Thank you for allowing Brian and I to play a small role in such a perfect day and allowing us to see the union of two people so very perfect for each other! We’re absolutely honored!! I also want to thank you for continually allowing me to document your sweet moments in your lives. I am truly blessed to know your family!! xo

So obsessed with there colors – so elegant!! Love their save the date!! It’s a magnet – how cute! This dress, this hanger!! LOVE! Love this shot my husband captured! Too funny! Of course Calvin & Champ had to make an appearance!! You know I loved this!! OBSESSED!! LOL at the chest bump! Love it! The flower girl is so beautiful! Love my couples so much!! Forever thankful for you, Heather & Nick! Love you both! The flower girl took her own path! I love the unexpected moments! Look at how happy Nick is to see his bride! LOVE! They said their own vows to each other – love these personal touches! YAY! Finally the newest Mr. & Mrs. Brown!! Look at all that JOY! Heather was glowing all day long!!
