Zoe & Zane | a Silo Wedding in Allegan, MI

7 years ago Zoe & Zane started dating and now they are married and are dog parents to cutest pups (trust me, they’re cute 😉 ) What a joy it is to be a part of something so special! Two high school sweethearts who’ve grown up together are now Mr. and Mrs. Rickstad, and what a beautiful and memorable day it was! I am not going to lie, I was pretty nervous for the ceremony because the forecast had called for rain all week. I checked the radar in the morning and it looked like we were going to be clear (clear of rain but still cloudy). But, boy was I wrong!! The sun shined brightly for the ENTIRE ceremony and for bridal portraits and it was PERFECT (other than being a little too warm).

I really enjoy getting to know the families of the couples that I am working with. I get to see these families in such a joyful and intimate environment, and I consider that such a privilege! I had plenty of favorite moments, but one that sticks out to me from Zoe & Zane’s day was seeing all of the fun and laughter that was brought out on the dance floor! It was such a blast and I adored seeing SO many of their friends and family dancing the night away! Another aspect of the day that I thoroughly enjoyed was realizing how amazing Zoe & Zane truly are. The words that were spoken from Zoe’s Dad, the Maid of Honor, and Best Man were so sincere and genuine! I just love learning more about my sweet couples. What made the day even better was despite the crazy amount of heat – Zoe and Zane never let their smile fade. That my friends, is true love.

Zoe & Zane, I am so thankful that I got to preserve the memories of the beginning of your happily ever after! I love you both and I couldn’t be happier for you!! Welcome to the amazing married-people club! Enjoy Mexico and the beginning of this awesome new adventure!!!!

I just couldn’t get over the lace on Zoe’s dress – SO beautiful!! Kate Spade shoes – yes please!! Isn’t her bouquet gorgeous?! Love the coral color! Zoe & Zane wrote letters to each other the day before the wedding and read them right before the ceremony – so sweet! She was wearing her Grandma’s pearls – love those sentimental details! Aww, first look with her dad! This photos cracks me up – Zoe with her brothers!!LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! The coral dresses are seriously perfect! Your smile is contagious, Zane!
