What a way to kick start the 2020 wedding season! It’s no surprise that Alyssa was definitely meant to be a Tauri Baum Bride. She checks all the boxes and then some! She is the sweetest person who radiates joy, and loves her dog just as much as I love mine (I didn’t even know that was possible 😉 ) Alyssa & Mitch included their beautiful dog, Kahlua in their engagement session and on their wedding day (yes, my heart melted the entire day!) She was the cutest dog of honor I’ve ever seen and walked so briskly down the isle and stood beside her parents as they said, “I do!”

With a February wedding, you assume you are going to be working in very cold temps, but we seriously got one of the best days!! It was a very sunny 40 degree day and I will forever be grateful for that! Everything was bright and airy outside and my photographer heart loved every minute of it!

The biggest thing that stands out is just how loving everyone was. You could see in so many ways that everyone there was genuinely excited for them! People were ready to do whatever they could to help! From the bridesmaids being there for every little thing Alyssa needed, to their entire family rallying to help decorate and set up! It was definitely a family affair! You could see how important family is to them.

Mitch had the best groom style I’ve ever seen! He had suede shoes and a sweet suit! Mitch and Alyssa incorporated their loved ones into their wedding so elegantly. Mitch carried a locket with his Grandparents that passed and kept his Grandma close to his heart with an angel medallion. Alyssa’s bouquet had a locket with her Dad’s picture in it and also set up a table to remember all their loved ones. Alyssa’s had a “first look” with her Grandma and got ready with her mom and sister helping her with her final touches! Mitch stood side by side with his dad and Grandpa as they helped his get ready for his day! Again, you can tell how loved they are and how much love they have for their family. It was such a beautiful thing to witness!

Alyssa & Mitch, congrats cuties!! We are still gushing all about Saturday! Thank you for your generosity, joyful spirits, easy-going attitudes, and thoughtfulness! You both are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. It was a JOY to watch you two become one. We wish we could go back and do it all over again! We hope you love your wedding day preview just as much as we do! xo
