This post was SO much fun to create! Not only because I LOVED seeing how each of my couples displayed their engagement/wedding photos, but it was also a post created with the help of my favorite people (aka my Tauri Baum Bride & Grooms 😉 )
Think about it, you’ve spent a year planning your wedding and sometimes even longer and just like that, it can be over in the blink of an eye. Thankfully, you have your wedding photos to share with family and reminisce. But let’s face it, after all the excitement of your wedding, those photos should do more than just sit on your computer! Turning your wedding photos into decor for your newlywed home is a great way to commemorate the special day in a unique way! My biggest piece of advice in all of this is to do your research, think about your room, what you love, and how you want to display your images. Do you want big statement pieces? Wooded frames? If you aren’t sure how to get started take a look through these images and hopefully it will spark some ideas! I also recommend talking with your photographer since they are the professionals and can help you in terms of finding the right printing company, ordering (high quality) pieces for you or just to help you brainstorm.  I love how Erin & Adam + Kelly & Cody displayed their canvas’! Cute collages make it easy to display a lot of photos in one frame!I LOVE the idea Erin & Adam came up with. Using a framed image as a guest book at your wedding so you have a great way to display all who celebrated with you on your big day!  For the above images – we did the same pose for Ellie & Jordan’s Christmas card, engagement session and their wedding! I LOVE how Ellie styled these photos! Obsessed!!  Don’t be afraid to go BIG! In other words, order more than just 4×6 or 8×10 prints! I love these gorgeous prints Hannah & Brandon printed and hung above their couch. Brian and I printed two 16×24 canvas’ from our wedding day and hung ours by the main TV in our living room. To be honest, if they were any smaller they would look like they didn’t belong. Let me know if any of you want to see them. Add more details to dress up your walls by including quotes, your initials or a monogram! I love the cute way Kaitlynn & Brian styled their photos with the beautiful quote below!  Such a cute idea for a way to showcase your whole engagement session! Theresa put all the images from their engagement session in a photo album that she keeps in her living room. LOVE!Hands down my favorite way to showcase and preserve all of the memories. A custom wedding album (made by yours truly 😉 ). I work with my couples to create an heirloom of their wedding images so they can pass it down through generations to come. I really enjoy creating these! It is so much fun to see the hand picked images my couple choose and to go through and make an album for them that tells their personal love story. I included a couple gallery walls we have up in our home but this doesn’t even begin to cover all of the photos we have hanging in our home, haha! What can I say – I love photos 😉 I hope this post helped spark some ideas and encouraged you to PRINT your memories 😉
