I’ll be honest, it’s hard to describe just how much we loved this day. It was authentic, genuine, and full of the best kind of emotion! I’d been waiting for this wedding day since the first email I received from Kaitlynn! It read: “I am sooooo excited to finally be able to reach out to you. I have been creepily stalking your Instagram photos for months. My new Fiance, Brian proposed this weekend!! I am in love with your style, warm lighting, bright colors, and genuine photos. It is everything I am looking for from a photographer!” Literally a DREAM Tauri Baum Bride and Groom! Kaitlynn and Brian are such a sweet couple who truly care about others and I love them so much!!

We love capturing our TB Couples in the place we call home and highlighting everything that is beautiful about our city! Kaitlynn & Brian’s wedding day took place at the Bissell Tree House in downtown Grand Rapids.

It was beautiful from beginning to end. Their reception theme was Travel and it played so well into their day. Their friends drove and flew from many different states! One of my favorite things about Kaitlynn & Brian is how loved they are by their friends! You could tell everyone was ecstatic about being there to celebrate with them. They had eight bridesmaids and eight groomsmen in their bridal party. Even though everyone was in difference stages of their life they all seemed like one big family because of their shared love for Kaitlynn & Brian. It made for a fun day full of entertainment and excitement!!

Their ceremony was just as beautiful! I loved how real their pastor was. He quoted great scripture and mentioned, every couple will have valleys in their marriage where they have to cling to one another and remember the promises they made. It’s not always perfect and pretty, but it sure is beautiful. Kaitlynn and Brian said their own vows and I even cried during them! They mentioned how they would always put each other first, no matter what. Once we got to the reception, Kaitlynn’s maid of honor, Jenna, stood up and toasted to the Bride and Groom and mentioned how she hasn’t seen a couple work so hard on their relationship or prepare more for their marriage than the actual wedding. Now if that isn’t a recipe for a successful marriage I am not sure what is!
