I don’t even know where to start with recapping this amazing day! I met this couple back on New Year’s Eve in 2019 at Rebecca and John’s wedding and I remember thinking, “Aw they’re such a cute couple!” Little did I know, years later they would contact me when they got engaged! I always do a little happy dance, especially when they are friends of a past bride and groom because I already know I’ll love them since I love their friends 😉 They are the kind of couple where you can just LOOK at them and know that they are absolute best friends who were truly meant for each other. Their playful, blissful, belly-laugh type of love was intertwined through every element of their wedding day…and it was an absolute JOY to capture from start to finish.

They had a beautiful first look, it was so sweet and Darren shed a couple tears. They also read vows to each other and I will always encourage you to do that. It was one of the highlights of the day for sure! I had to keep it together from behind my camera because the way they cherish each other was so sweet. Just take a look below!

There are so many things I love about Kim and Darren! One being how relaxed, calm and up for anything they are! No matter what I threw at them, they were always up for it! The ending of their wedding day was one of my favorite parts, they danced and twirled in the golden hour light; jumped in the air, high-fived each other, and just kept saying, “this is the best day!” and “yay! we are married!” It was really something special to witness. They were just having so much fun and I truly feel that’s what marriage should be like! Enjoying each other’s company, laughing a whole lot, being silly, and just having fun with your best friend. I already know they are going to rock this marriage thing! 🙂

Kim & Darren, thank you so much for being so sweet and so much fun to work with!! We are still reminiscing on the amazing moments that happened throughout your wedding day. So many sincere, sentimental moments that made our hearts melt. I still pinch myself sometimes when I consider how amazing it is to be trusted with capturing such a cherished day!
