We took a few family photos by the water right after Joey and Lexi’s first look and as soon as Joey’s dad saw Lexi all he could say was, “WOW!”. He was speechless at how gorgeous Lexi looked. Then, I witnessed every single person say the same exact thing. She was stunning, elegant, and radiating! Another favorite memory from the day was when Lexi and I hopped into the golf cart to head over to see Joey for their first look. Lexi was anxious to see him and she turned to me and said, “I am so excited to see Joey! Things always seem so calm when he is around” WOW! What a pure and beautiful thing to say about your husband! I already know these high school sweethearts are going to crush marriage!
Lexi & Joe didn’t let the rain ruin their day! They embraced it and rolled with the crazy, changing weather! At one point it was 80 degrees with the sun shining bright and then it dropped to 70 degrees and a storm rolled in. It rains sometimes on wedding days. It’s an unfortunate reality. We can’t always predict the weather, and we definitely can’t control the weather! Days where the couple is so crazy in love that their love would shine through any storm. But God works miraculously and as soon as it was time for the ceremony, the rain stopped! It was a beautiful, rain free ceremony! Take a look below at how absolutely perfect the entire day was, I couldn’t help but tear up again while editing. These people are pure gold!
Lexi & Joey, Thank you for being an inspiration to others! You are an example of a couple who doesn’t sweat the small stuff (like rain on your wedding day) and put each other first. It truly was our pleasure to serve you and to be along for this amazing, beautiful ride! I’m excited because I know our friendship will continue and we can’t wait to see your love grow even more!
