Almost a year ago, I took Meagan & Nick’s engagement photos and I remember saying, “I am already dreaming of the magic we will create on your wedding day in May!” What I didn’t know at that time, is their actual wedding day exceeded every single one of my dreams!! Their Downtown Grand Rapids wedding was a perfect touch of classic & elegant. Their portraits were a dream (the most I may have ever photographed of the bride & groom)! Their details were flawless (this is the first time photographing that stunning shade of purple). And most importantly, their families were so incredibly supportive. I can’t count the number of times I teared up!! From the music during the ceremony to the daddy/daughter first dance, they are all moments I will never forget!

Another special moment that really stood out to me was when the best man, Spencer, toasted to the newlyweds and looked at Meagan and said, “I’ve known Nick for 20+ years and one thing I know and see is that Meagan, you’re Nick’s absolute world!” Oh, the tears!!!

Meagan & Nick, I know I’ve only known you for a year but I can attest to the words that Spencer spoke. I see the way you two look at each other, how you always have each others backs and most importantly, the way you two compliment each other so well!! We are so glad that we met you and got the chance to know you. It was an absolute honor to photograph this part of your life. We love you guys and hope you love your wedding day preview!! xo
