Stephanie & Chris | a Downtown Detroit Wedding

This adorable couple captured my heart the moment we first FaceTimed. I remember going for a walk with my husband, Brian as soon as I got off the call with them. I couldn’t stop telling Brian how much I loved Stephanie & Chris (and it was the first time we’d ever met/talked, ha)! It must of been mutual because within minutes I received an email saying they couldn’t wait to tell me they wanted to book me (I may or may not have danced around the room then ;)). Flash forward to the night of the wedding… every single person that stood up and spoke about Stephanie & Chris said the exact same thing. Stephanie & Chris are so selfless, genuine, simple, kind, and exude joy. The moment you speak with them, you instantly love them. They are the kind of couple every one wants to hang out with!

I can’t say enough great things about Stephanie & Chris! One thing that stood out to me is that even though there was a change of plans due to the weather, they embraced it! I did not hear one complaint and as you look though their photos I think you can tell the joy they continued to have even despite of the rain!

Stephanie & Chris met through mutual friends and started their relationship as friends first. Which I believe is how the greatest relationships are formed. Their love is mature and deep, and so obvious from the outside looking in, but what seems to have never changed is their friendship and sense of bliss they have when they are around one another. These two were made for each other and it is clear that every one else in the room thinks the same thing.

Oh Stephanie & Chris, as you know, Brian & I adore you two! We also so appreciate your enthusiasm and bravery to embrace the rain on your wedding day and to change a perceived negative into a beautiful, romantic positive! And more than that, we appreciate who you are. We have grown to love you both so much, and we’re so thankful that you allowed us to be a part of such a phenomenal celebration of love. Congratulations, you guys! All of her details are so classic!! Beyond obsessed with Stephanie’s gown!! The prettiest of pretty! Gorgeous ladies!! These guys were hilarious!! I loved every single one of the Stephanie’s maids dresses. They all looked absolutely gorgeous! J. Crew Models, I tell ya. This is perfect. Dying over this!!
