TB’S KITCHEN | CROCKPOT CHEESY CHICKEN AND RICE

Recipes

Some of you may be wondering why I share so many recipes. Well, the reason for this is because I want to give my #tauribaumbride’s ideas of things to cook – that are easy, simple, and quick. If any of you are like me, I need occasional meal inspiration and that is what I hope these recipes do for you! 🙂

(P.S. These photos were taken with an iPhone and so the lighting and color may not be ideal)

Here is what you need to make Cheesy Chicken and Rice:

2 Chicken Breasts

1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup

3 Whole Carrots

3/4 Cup Corn

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano

Salt (to taste)

1/2 Cup Milk

2 Cups Cooked Rice

1 /2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 Cup Shredded Asiago Cheese

 

The photo below is taken after shredding the chicken but before adding in rice, cheese, and milk.

  1. Place everything except milk, cheese, and rice in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  2. Shred the chicken and stir in milk, cheese and rice. Serve and Enjoy!!
