I am going to warn you now, this is the longest blog post to date!!! Here are some of my favorite wedding images from 2018!

Ah, 2018!! You were AMAZING! I’m sure you’ve figured it out by now; but I truly LOVE my couples and my job!

I have a passion for marriage, capturing memories and getting to know and love on some of the best brides and grooms I could ever ask for! Looking back through these images made my heart grew ten times bigger!! It brought back so many memories including; the endless tears I shed listening to the father of the bride’s speeches, the crazy amount of rain we endured this season, the coldest and hottest day we have ever photographed in, and  most important – the AMAZING marriages we got to witness and the INCREDIBLE human beings we had the honor of serving!

Tauri Baum Brides & Grooms – Thank you, thank you, a million times, thank you. I can’t stop saying that because I truly love each and every single one of you! Thank you for the laughs, the hugs, the coffee dates, the emails, for putting up with my crazy requests because the light is just “too good”,  for dealing with my excitement because I can’t handle how cute ya’ll are and for being the kindest couples in the world! 2018 was an amazing year and it was all because of you guys! Brian and I LOVED getting to know you all and are so grateful you asked us to be a part of such an amazing time in your lives!!! xo

 We started out the 2018 wedding season with the best couple, Rene & Frank – January 13 in Chicago! We hope to head back there soon!!  It’s always a favorite watching mom’s and sister’s help get their bride ready!!  I teared up during this!! SO SWEET!   The beautiful downtown Chicago!  STOPPP, so sweet! We came back to our home town to photograph Chelsea & Tel’s beautiful day!!  Their sweet baby boy!! He’s so cute!  First looks are the best!  SO HAPPY!  Right after the ceremony! Love this one so much! In April, we photographed Annalise & Zak’s Downtown Grand Rapid. Back at our college, GVSU!  These details… OBSESSED!  GORGEOUS!  Such a FUN day!!  Photographed back at our college – GVSU!  In May, we headed to Detroit (for the first time for a wedding!) to photograph Stephanie & Chris’ beautiful day! It was a DREAMMMM.  The sweetest girls!!  I still am talking about Stephanie’s dress and bouquet!! LOVE!  I was crying during her dad’s speech too! AWW! Next, we had the honor of photographing Cathy & Kieran’s Grand Rapids wedding!  Cathy got ready inside of her and Kieran’s new home and it was the BEST decision! I love the sentiment behind it!  So pretty!!  LOVE! We ended out the month of June with Emily & Alex’s wedding! Emily and I have been friend since forever and it was such an honor to be a part of their day!!  Love this room!  It was warm and they were the BEST! They handled it like champs!  AWW! In July, we celebrated Lauren & Nolan in Grand Rapids! AHH LOVE THIS DAY!  Daddy/Daughter first looks forever have my heart!  This image!! LOVE!  The perfect golden hour!  In September we celebrated four amazing couples and started the month off with Erin & Adam! Loved every single moment of this day!!  The most magical first look – it was down pouring during it!  We embraced the rain and I am so glad we did!  SO CUTE!  The rain stopped and we were blessed with a gorgeous golden hour!! September 15, a day we will forever remember! Ellie & Jordan’s beautiful wedding!!    One word; GORGEOUS!  I had tears streaming down my face during their first look. They read personal vows to each other – I will never forget this!!   We celebrated Alyssa & Jared in Holland and I loved so many things about this day but specifically the sweet families, bridal party, and of course, Alyssa & Jared! Such a fun group of people!!  THESE DETAILS! S0 pretty!! A gorgeous bride!  Favorite bridal party photo! We then headed to Kalamazoo to celebrate Jessica & Jacob! I loved how Jessica wore her mom’s wedding dress!  October 13 – Elyse & Dylan’s wedding perfect day!! First time ever to Bay City and it was the BEST!  So many happy tears!  STUNNING!  The power of prayer!  These fall colors are everything! YAY for golden hours!! December was a busy, AMAZING month!! We started it with Mackenzie & Drew in Grand Rapids and made so many great memories!  Mackenzie’s glowing – such a beautiful bride!!    It was a chilly day but Mackenzie & Drew embraced it like champs!  Favorite!! We ended the 2018 wedding season with Kelly & Cody at the Black Barn! The best way to end the season!! Love this day, this couple, their families and friends so much!!    Favorite first look!
