Elyse & Dylan | a Classic Fall Bay City Wedding

Seven and a half years, and man did everything come out absolutely perfectly for these cute high school sweethearts!! The weather was beautiful and all of Elyse & Dylan’s family and friends were so thrilled about their marriage. Everyone had been patiently waiting for this day, so as you expect, everyone was so excited when the day had finally come!

I can say these two have such amazing support and their familes are so tight! Something I know I always treasure with mine, so when I see others love each other well, it makes me instantly get teary eyed.

There were so many memorable moments from their day, but I’d have to say the ones that take the cake were filled with JOYFUL tears! I adored watching Dylan & Elyses’ moms’ tear up as they watched each of their children open a letter from each other. And you can’t miss the tears rolling down Dylan’s face as he watched his Bride walk down the isle to him. Their ceremony was filled with so much love and excitement that I hope you feel it pouring out as you scroll through these images. Lastly, I will be honest the mother/son dance had me wiping away my own tears! It was such a sweet moment and I am so happy I can share it with you all!

Elyse & Dylan were truly glowing all day long, and you can see it in their faces. Smiling, laughing, and beaming. And we are so glad we got to witness those smiles in person! And I’ll end this by saying, this wedding was a photographer’s dream in more ways than one!

There was something about it that I instantly felt the connection through an email; which is definitely crazy! After our first meeting, I was calling Elyse my “spirit animal” and couldn’t get over how many similarities we shared! Goodness, I could go on and on about you two but I’ll just leave it at; Brian & I wish there was a stronger word than honored. Because that’s how we feel. You two are an absolutely INCREDIBLE couple and I hope all the smiles, laughter, and joy never leave your faces! Elyse & Dylan’s invitation suite is a DREAM!!! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the ring box twice and it never gets old! Dylan made it for Elyse and it is GORGEOUS! Love all of these sentimental details! A white hankerchief from Great Grandma, Diamond bracelet from Grandma, Something blue from her mom, and a purse that Elyses’ cousin used on her wedding day! I still am not over Elyses’ dress & veil… PERFECTION! Such beautiful and sweet ladies! One of my favorite moments, watching the Bride’s mom help her daughter into her gown! LOVE! Elyse, you are STUNNING! Adore this! Momma and Brother tearing up! Those tears!! This image stopped me in my tracks. Powerful!! YAY! The newest Mr. & Mrs.!! The guys were so full of laughter!
