Kelly & Cody | a Black Barn Vineyard Wedding

This is our final TBP wedding of our 2018 wedding season and it was the BEST way to end!!

This wedding holds a huge piece of my heart not only because Kelly & Cody are high school sweethearts and have been dating the same amount of time my husband and I have. But, also, because I felt so connected to this wedding. Leading up to this day, Kelly had kept me very informed with the details and had asked me for my advice for some pieces of the day. This is one thing I love about my Tauri Baum Brides – they keep me updated and know that I am always an email away if they ever have any questions.

One thing I specifically remember is Kelly showing me her dress when she got it but what I didn’t realize is how Kelly would be the reason that dress shined!! Don’t get me wrong, I thought it was beautiful in the photo but, once I saw her in it – my jaw dropped!! Kelly – you’re radiant and absolutely STUNNING!

Upon showing up, I noticed instantly the AMAZING team of friends and family Kelly and Cody have behind them. They had so many people helping out to make their day everything they’ve ever dreamed of! Just to mention a few; Kelly created the reception details and her mom made the gorgeous wedding cake/cupcakes! The details were gorgeous (Kelly, you seriously killed it)! I felt like we were a part of a styled shoot that’s how beautiful everything was!

We already know Kelly and Cody are both incredibly photogenic, so needless to say, they made our job pretty easy! More than that, though, these two are funny, kind, and as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. And the friendship and love between them is a pretty amazing thing to watch. We got a first hand seat as we witnessed the emotions Cody had as he saw his bride for the first time (take a look below)! Cody wasn’t the only one in tears – I shed a few as I watched their families join each other out on the dance floor after the mother/son and father/daughter dances. There are some moments during wedding days that just stop you in your tracks. It’s moments like this that make you have such a deeper love and respect for the people you’re serving.

In summary, WE LOVE THESE PEOPLE and THEIR SWEET FAMILIES!

Kelly & Cody – Immediately as I got into our car after packing up from your wedding day, I looked at Brian and I said, “I just love them!!” Since meeting you guys and then getting you in front of my camera for an amazing engagement session, I knew you two were something special. We are so happy to see two such beautiful souls find their perfect match like you two have. Kelly and Cody, you are absolutely gorgeous together, and we couldn’t be more happy for you! You two will do amazing things as a team and through your marriage – we already know it! Love you guys so much!! Hope you’re having an amazing time in Hawaii!! xoxo I adore starting the day with bridal details! Obsessed with all of Kelly/Cody’s details! Cody’s ring is so unique and I LOVE it! The pocket watch below has been passed down through generations. Now it’s Cody’s turn to carry it! This bow is everything! The bridesmaid dresses were one of my brand colors and I couldn’t help but use that as a backdrop for some of the detail shots! Kelly you’re so beautiful!
