Well, I don’t know about you… but I am loving all of these winter engagement sessions!! I swear my Tauri Baum Brides have the SWEETEST friends which makes sense because they’re all genuine and full of so much joy. My past couple, Afton & Chris, sent Cathy & Kieran to me and can I just tell you how happy I am they did?!

From the first inquiry – I was so excited to meet Cathy & Kieran! We agreed to meet at a local coffee shop here in Grand Rapids and I immediately could tell Cathy was meant to be a Tauri Baum Bride. As I mentioned above, my brides radiate joy and Cathy does just that (just take a look below at the photos)! What makes this even more special, Kieran also mentioned his favorite thing about Cathy is the joy she has for life. How precious!!

At our first meeting, Cathy & I talked for hours and I left with a full heart. I was so eager to work with her and Kieran! Kieran is just as sweet and genuine, I loved seeing how much he adores Cathy. It is something I’ll never take for granted; watching how amazing and unique each of couples relationship is. Kieran made sure Cathy was warm, carried her jacket for her, and gave her a piggy-back ride up a hill so she didn’t have to walk in the deep snow.

Also – did I mention they have an adorable puppy?! Oh guys, I definitely went into full on dog-mom mode with the high pitched voice and all, ha! I’m sorry I can’t help it. Dogs will forever hold a special place in my heart. Ollie definitely stole the show at the end of the session. He was such a trooper and I am SO glad they included him in some of their engagement photos (Brian and I still cherish our engagement photos with our sweet pup, Kya!!).

I absolutely loved this session, and it makes me all the more excited to get these two in front of my camera in a wedding gown and a tux in June!! It’s going to be amazing! Enjoy just a few of my favorites from their winter engagement session 🙂 xo,
