I’m not going to lie – I really am enjoying all of these winter sessions (weddings and engagements) I’ve been blessed to photograph already this year!! When Erin told me she was interested in a winter engagement session I was super excited!! Not many couples are up for dealing with cold weather. We had been praying we would have snow for the session and did we ever!! It seriously felt like we were in a snow globe; it was magical watching the snow continually sprinkle over my sweet couple. Not only were the locations and the light beautiful, but I quickly realized that these two are incredibly photogenic!

I’ve known Adam for years so when Erin contacted me she mentioned we had so many mutual friends and she had been watching my work over the years since I’ve done a lot of their friends engagement/wedding photos! I instantly connected with Erin and truly love her joyful spirit!! Something I truly admire about all of my brides.

We started in a woodsy setting (which is beyond beautiful!!) and ended at the same place Adam proposed to Erin. It looked a lot different from when he proposed because the lake this time around was frozen but it was still absolutely STUNNING (and maybe a little windy…ok maybe very windy, haha)! I loved hearing how real and genuine Adam’s propsal was to Erin – it was so them and ended with a sweet celebration with their loved ones. It can’t get any better than that.

Erin & Adam – you are amazing for braving the cold, wet snow. I’m calling it now, September is going to be one for the books!!! Beyond thankful to have you as one of my 2018 couples! xo
