I’ve been so excited for this session and it’s not because Dana & Chris are so cute and it’s not because of their adorable style…even though those are both great reasons to get excited for a shoot! I have been looking forward to this shoot because ever since I was little I’ve always looked up to Dana and admired her!! Back in the day, she helped me tremendously in basketball. At basketball camps, I was always wishing I was on her team and she’d be my coach!

Dana had mentioned she’d been following my photography journey and adores my photos so as soon as she got engaged she knew she wanted to call me! You don’t even know how HAPPY that made me feel! I met Chris at our first meeting and instantly could tell he had a GREAT sense of humor and already had me laughing. I was DYING to get them in front of my camera and let me tell you it was everything I had hoped for!! They are such naturals and below are some of my FAVORITES I’ve ever captured!!!

I’ve lived in Downtown Grand Rapids for over five years now, and GR continues to make me fall in love over and over again! When Dana and Chris told me they wanted rustic industrial I instantly knew where I wanted to photograph! The first location is a place Brian & I had wedding photos taken at and it brought back all the feels!
