Who said a rainy wedding day can’t be FUN and make STUNNING portraits?! Erin & Adam embraced every single moment of their day! This was the first time I’ve ever experienced a first look while it was down pouring and it was absolutely perfect. I loved the romantic feel the pounding rain gave!! It took the first look to a whole new level!

There are not enough words in the world to describe how great Erin & Adam are. From the moment Erin walked in the door a smile NEVER left her face!! It was literally down pouring when we arrived and she hugged me tight and said she knows no matter what she fully trusts me and nothing can bring her down on her wedding day. Erin knew in the end she would be married to her best friend and that’s all that mattered. Goodness, I just love her spirit and outlook on life! She was full of JOY, LAUGHTER, and so much LOVE and KINDNESS. It was truly amazing! I hope you can feel the bliss from their wedding day because I felt it radiating off them all day long!

I grew up with Adam and have known him forever and one thing I’ve always loved about him is his loyalty and great character. I am truly happy he’s found just as great of a person as he is. They are the most perfect pair and I could gush over them forever. One of my favorite memories of the day was their personal wedding vows (especially watching Adam choke up which made my heart melt) and the way they chose to start their marriage with an act of service (by washing each others feet).

The weather was wild in the morning but we made it work and we captured my favorite portraits of all time and it was all done in the rain!! Erin, Adam and I had multiple conversations about golden hour portraits prior to the wedding day so I knew this was something they’ve always dreamed of and I’m not going to lie, I was a little worried it may not happen after watching the forecast all week. But you know what, God is good and the clouds cleared and we had an absolutely STUNNING golden hour! Take a look for yourself below 😉
